4D Financial Group was founded by Melissa Chadd, a finance executive with over two decades of Controller and CFO-level experience leading accounting and financial operations across complex, multi-entity organizations.
Throughout her career, she has built and transformed finance functions—establishing the systems, processes, and controls required to produce accurate reporting, strengthen operational discipline, and support strategic decision-making. Her experience includes leading ERP implementations, GAAP conversions, and process redesign initiatives that have improved efficiency, accelerated reporting timelines, and increased financial visibility.
Melissa has supported organizations ranging from $100M to $300M+ in revenue across manufacturing, distribution, oilfield services, and the public sector—often during periods of growth, acquisition, and operational change. Prior to founding 4D Financial Group, she served in senior finance leadership roles responsible for modernizing accounting functions and positioning organizations for scale.
Today, she works directly with clients to deliver structured, scalable financial leadership—combining hands-on execution with Controller and CFO-level insight.
